NCIT is supporting the rollout of Climate Basecamps’ Save the Flavours campaign in Switzerland. This campaign links climate science with culture and consumer products. The campaign uses ‘Save the Flavors’ branded ice cream and luxury watches to spark public engagement with the climate risks facing cocoa.
The campaign is designed to highlight these climatic risks and bring the reality of climate change home to everyday consumers, thereby shifting ‘hearts and minds’ to embrace the changes we need to prevent more challenging climatic shifts. Through various campaign materials including a ‘Save the Flavors’ branded food truck, ‘is it choco-too-late’ product packaging, flyers and a limited edition luxury watch, two sustainability-minded Swiss brands are raising awareness of the links between what we love and what we might lose with the changing climate. The brands will be using these co-branded materials to start conversations at various food and watch events throughout Switzerland for the entire summer season.
